I have so enjoyed reading haikus by many of my favorite hubbers over the last few weeks including Mentalist Acer, Hyphenbird, Just Ask Susan, Sueswan, always exploring, Movie Master, mckbirdbks, and more. As we end 2011 and begin 2012, please enjoy a look at the past, present, and future.

Haikus are easy. The formula is:
5 syllables (for the first line); 7 syllables (for the second line); and then 5 syllables (for the last line).
Usually the subject matter is nature . . . but I don't often follow the rules. Ha!

I am going to be really mean and tell you all that the weather here is beautiful, warm, sunshine and clear blue skies. I do miss a white Christmas though.

Sally, this is a great poem, actually perfect, to reflect upon as a new year approaches. May we choose better, love stronger and worship God faithfully in the future. May we learn from the past and enjoy the future. I love this very much. Thank you.
