Have you ever thought about adopting an alter ego? You know, someone you wish you could be . . . just to pretend - maybe to stretch your wings and try something new. When you are feeling tired, he/she is lively. When you are feeling vulnerable, he/she is aggressive. While we may be very comfortable in the skin we are in, it is always fun to imagine.
Follow these few algorithms to create your new personas:
Soap Opera Name = middle name + street you grew up on
Porn Star Name = First pet + Mother’s Maiden Name
Jedi Name = First Name - 1st 3 letters of last name + 1st 2 letters of first name AND Last Name - 1st 2 letters of mother's maiden name + 1st 3 letters of city you were raised in
My Soap Opera Name is Kathleen Olson
My Porn Star Name is Tiger Henslee
My Jedi Name is Wilam Hehou
I am a schoolteacher by day, but in my quest to break out of a pre-conceived mold, I think it might be fun to assume another identity. My favorite new name is Tiger Henslee, porn star. You gotta admit, that is a very cool name.

Oh boy too confusing. I mostly use my maiden name but then on legal documents I have no choice but to use my married name, and then I often use my partners name. 3 is quite enough for me. I forget now which I am supposed to be signing. I love the quirky idea though.

I read that, neurologically speaking, there is no region of the brain that we can nail down as containing the self. The self is a set of neurons that fire off in a certain order. It is reconstructed anew every moment in our brain. So in a sense we have a new identity every moment.
