Loved this Hub! I had a high school teacher that liked to use interesting facts like this to make history more interesting than just memorizing a bunch of dates. Thanks for the fun read!
One of my goals is to read biographies of all the presidents. Did President Arthur fish and play banjo at the same time? Only joking.
Great fun reading this. I laughed at Andrew Jackson's parrot. Wonder where he learned the swearing? And John Q. Adams' skinny dipping? Never would have imagined. My favorite was always Good Old Abe. Happy President's Day.
I thoroughly enjoyed this hub, Sally. Fascinating tidbits about these very famous me; I was shocked to read that Nixon won so much money playing poker during WWII or that Coolidge rode an electronic horse in the White House. Well done.
Very interesting hub. Laughed from the fact about Jackson's parrot. I think I will come back to the hub when I need some cool information about US presidents.

Watching A&E I learn that the last time we had a balanced national debt goes all the way back to Andrew Jackson a Democrat no less! He had to sell Government land to do it. Great hub Sally!
I love this Hub! It is fun and educative. Bravo!!
He was the man who took us back to the principles of the Founding Fathers and thus paved the way for a spiritual rebirth in America and fifty years of uninterupted, unprecendented prosperity.

Loooooool, rofl this is some funny stuff! Interesting too, Have you ever read the letters that John Adams sent to Abigail and vice versa? If not then do yourself a favor and read them, they are beautifully written and very touching.

So it was John Quincy Adams that was photographed first. This is a great hub. So James Madison was 5'-4". I am placing him in the gallery.
